My Name is Sam Schrey and I’m a pet portrait artist based in Auckland, New Zealand.

I love drawing pets, animals and especially remembering those loved fur babies that have passed. There is nothing more special then the gift of a beloved pet, it’s the perfect Birthday, Anniversary or Christmas present and I would be honored to capture such a special gift.

Using photographs of your pets that capture their expressions the best, I can produce character filled portraits of your beloved pets or animals.

I work in pencil which I transfer to the computer and digitally colour and finish. I then print onto 300gsm water colour paper.

I can advise you on what kind of photos are suitable and tips on how to take the perfect shot.

Framing options are available for an additional cost which can be quoted on a case by case basis. Extra shipping costs will occur but i can let you know what that will be before we proceed.
